Distribution Characteristic of DBH and Tree Height for Gap Edge Trees of Acacia confusa in Midsubtropical Zone

  • A field survey was conducted on 130 edged trees selected from 10 gaps of Acacia confusa secondary forests in Fuzhou area, the distribution characteristics of DBH and tree height for the gap edged trees were individually simulated with Weibull and Normal distribution models, and then checked by Kolmogorov and Chisquare tests. The results showed that the distribution of DBH classes of gap edged trees in the A. confusa secondary forests in Fuzhou area followed both the Weibull and Normal distribution models, whereas the distribution of tree height classes only followed Weibull distribution model, but it did not follow the Normal distribution model.
