Design and Implementation of Computer Aided Forest Management System for Acacia crassicarp Plantation

  • The plantations of Acacia crassicarp in Fujian Province were surveyed.Different mathematical growth models for Acacia crassicarpa were built according to the whole course of the plantation development.Based on the present advanced computer technology,a computer aided management system for A.crassicarpa plantations was built by means of applying the front desk development language PowerBuilder 90 and MS SQL SERVER 2000 as the backstage supporter mediumsized database.Rational management measures can be chosen through comparative analyses on different options with the assistance of the computer aided management system so that the A.crassicarpa plantations can be scientifically managed.
