Habitat Selection of Grasshoppers at Nujiang Gorge in Northwest Yunnan

13 plots from 5 types of representative habitats were selected according to the vegetation,topography and altitude in the Nujiang Gorge of Northwest Yunnan Province,field survey and quantitative collection of grasshoppers were conducted from July of 2009 to April of 2010664 specimen of grasshoppers belonging to 31 species and 5 families were obtained.The analyses on the relationship between the grasshopper species and the habitats showed that the distribution of grasshopper species was related to habitat factors,meanwhile it showed diversified adaptability.
