Abstract
The distribution characteristics of Pb in the natural Kandelia candel communities of Fuding were investigated to study the absorption, distribution and accumulation of Pb element in the mangrove forests. The results showed that the Pb element contents in different organs of the Kandelia candel plants ranged from 745~11331 mg/kg, and the average Pb enrichment coefficient in the top soil was 0284. The pool amount of Pb in the top forest soil(0~30cm depth)was 9988 mg/kg, which preponderated over the 1st quality category for oceanic sedimentation set by the National Sea Environmental Quality Standard. The Pb element storage in the mangrove forest top soil(0~30cm)was 1407065mg/m2 and the current accumulation of Pb element in the mangrove communities was 40048mg/m2.
