  • A new development strategy was proposed for the forest protection major and specialty on the basis of reviewing the historical footprint of the specialty development and integrating with the development tendency of modern forestry. It was concluded that ‘forest medicine’ should be the inevitable trend of the specialty development of forest protection along with social and economic development in the future.
