Measurement of Static Elasticity Modulus of the Isotrope WoodBased Panels and Comprehensive Evaluation of Standard Deviation

  • Modulus of elasticity is an important index to judge the mechanical properties of isotrope wood based panels. The integrated evaluation to the elasticity modulus indexes by means of Standard Deviation method was essential that had significant application value to the actual measurement and variance analysis of the indexes. The static and dynamic elasticity moduli of three layer plywood, HDF and OSB trial materials were measured by means of the static force method of “threepoint curve” and the vibrational method of “cantalever grider” freeness end. The confidence interval was determined and the confidence level was evaluated for the measured data analysis in order to reflect the dispersion degree of the measured data of the elasticity moduli, and the probability for the data to fall into a certain sample statistics zone. The results showed that the static and dynamic elasticity moduli test results were consistent, and the wider the confidence interval was, the higher the confidence level would be.
