Research Advances of Genus Cornus

The research advances and utilization of Cornus L., including the taxonomic studies, geographical distribution, biological and ecological characteristics, propagation techniques, developmental utilization, medical value, ecological and economical value, and so on were summarized in this review. Based on fully making use of the domestic and international study achievements, it was proposed that the future research should be focused on resource management, germplasm collection, protection, and cross breeding technologies for genus Cornus L., from the point of view of protection and utilization.
