AFLP Genetic Diversity Analysis of Robinia pseudoacacia Clones

  • The genetic diversity of 53 Robinia pseudoacacia clones were tested by AFLP and the parental relationship among the clones was analyzed. Totally 1230 fragments were produced with 8 pairs of primers, 1218 of the fragments were polymorphic, the polymorphism percentage was 99.02%. There were 203 specific bands and 11 absent bands by which 83% of the R. pseudoacacia clones could be identified. The germplasm of the 53 R. pseudoacacia clones was clustered into 5 groups with UPGMA, and the clones with the same origins were not always clustered into the same group, indicating that there were no obvious geographic variation modes formed in the studied R. pseudoacacia clones.
