Advances in Studies on Soluble Organic Carbon in Forest Soils

  • The sources, determination methodology and translocation of the dissolved organic carbon (DOC) of the forest soil were reviewed. The effect of changes in abiotic factors including temperature, soil moisture and pH value, precipitation and nitrogen deposition, and the changes in litter quantity, litter quality biotic factors upon the forest soil DOC were introduced. The research advances in forest soil DOC were discussed, and the related problems to be solved were proposed.
