GC-MS Analysis of Volatile Components from Fresh Leaf-buds of Vaccinium dunalianum var.dunalianum

  • The volatile components from the fresh leaf buds of Vaccinium dunalianum var. dunalianum were extracted by steam distillation extraction, and analyzed by gas chromatography and mass spectrometry (GC MS). 27 components out of the 44 volatiles extracted were identified, which included 8 alcohols, 5 alkanes, 5 esters, 3 olefins, 2 acids, 2 aldehydes, 1 ketone, and 1 pyran. Among which the content of decahydro dimethylnaphthalene was the highest, reaching 47035%, and the other major compounds were linalool (3185%), 3,7 dimethyl 1,5,7 octatrien 3 ol (1398%), and benzene acetaldehyde (1034%).
