Study on the Sound Absorption and Thermal Conductivity Properties of Low Density MagnesiaBonded Wood Wool Panel

  • The effects of magnesia ratio to wood, the density, thickness and additive on the sound absorption coefficient and thermal conductivity of the low density magnesiabonded wood wool panel were studied with orthogonal experiment. The results showed that the sound absorption property was best when the ratio of magnesia to wood was 2, the density was 045g/cm3, and the thickness of the panel was 16mm, and the No.3 additive was used. The best thermal conductivity of the panel could be obtained when the density was 045g/cm3, the thickness was 16 mm, and still the No.2 additive was applied.
