GIS-Based Ecological Sensitivity Evaluation of Ledong Li Autonomous County of Hainan Province

Based on the specific local ecoenvironmental problems and the corresponding research achievements on ecological sensitivity of Ledong Li Autonomous County, Hainan Province, the ecosensitivity index system of Ledong County was established, and the ecological sensitivity assessment for this county was conducted by means of applying AHP method and GIS technology.The results showed that Ledong County was generally a high ecosensitive county, the ecosensitivity in the east and north parts of the county was higher than that of the west and south parts. The area with the extremely high and high ecosensitivity accounted for 53.85% of the total area in the county, the area with moderate ecosensitivity and the area with low and no ecosensitivity in Ledong County took 21.00%and 2515% of the total area respectively. The Ledong County was divided into three ecological function areas according to the results of the ecological sensitivity assessment.
