Research on Fast in vitro Propagation and Regeneration Technology of Sapium sebiferum

  • The fast in vitro propagation and regeneration systemof Sapium sebiferum was established by taking young stem segment of S.sebiferum as explants, and the influences of different types and concentrations of plant growth regulators on the progress of S.sebiferum tissue culture were examined.The results showed that the optimum medium formula for bud induction culture was MS+NAA 0.2 mg/L+6-BA 3.0 mg/L, which resulted in the highest bud rate as 87.19%. At the initial culture stage, adding 2.0 g/L PVP to the medium could well control the browning phenomenon. The optimum culture medium for multiplication was MS+6-BA 1.0 mg/L+NAA 0.1 mg/L. The highest rooting rate was induced by medium as 1/2 MS+IBA 1.0 mg/L+NAA 0.1 mg/L.
