Study on Vertical Distribution of Soil Nitrogen in Wuyishan Nature Reserve

  • In order to determine the vertical differentiation rules of soil nitrogen in Wuyi Mountain Nature Reserve, the standards plot at different altitudes in Wuyi Mountain Nature Reserve were chosen and the total nitrogen, hydrolysis nitrogen, ammonium nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen of soil at different elevations and soil layer were analyzed. The results showed that, the contents of total nitrogen, hydrolysis nitrogen, ammonium nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen in the layer of 0-20cm were gradually increasing with altitude; however, there were some fluctuations changes with altitude in the layer of 20-40cm and 40-60cm. In the vertical distribution of soil profile, the contents of total nitrogen, hydrolysis nitrogen, ammonium nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen decreased gradually with the soil depth, the different forms nitrogen were significantly affected by the soil depth, however, the difference of total nitrogen among soil layers was not significant.
