Estimated Forest Carbon Sequestration of the Fujian Province Based on Growth and Biomass Model

  • By using the integrated growth and biomass model and three times′ forest resource check data in Fujian province to calculate carbon sequestration, and the applied methods of IPCC, biomass expansion factor continuous function to analyze relative error of the calculation results. The results showed that the carbon reserve of highforest in Fujian was increasing. Among, newly increased carbon sequestration between the fifth and sixth time chech was 107152247t, and it was 117343013t between the sixth and seventh time chech. Calculation results by integrated growth and biomass model was almost same to other methods, with small error
