Effects of Different Fertilization Treatments on Growth of Advanced Generation Superior Provenances of Young Cunninghamia lanceolata

  • Fertilizer test was carried out on the progeny of 4yearold advanced generation provenance of Cunninghamia lanceolata stand, and then investigated the growth status of 2yearsold growth stage. The results indicated that comparing with CK, A3、B3、C3 fertilizer treatment were highly significant promoted the growth of breastdiameter, tree height and crown diameter, showing well followup growth promotion effects. B2、C2 treatment had a good sustained effect on breastdiameter and crown diameter, indicating that a suitable ratio of N、P、K were sequential improvement of the growth of breast diameter, while the effect of the other fertilizer treatments were not significant. When the ratio of carbamide and compound fertilizer was 1∶2 and fertilizing amount was 075kg/plant, the economic character of Cunninghamia lanceolata was the best, such as, in the 2 years growing period, the breastdiameter and tree height increment reached up to 52m and 25m respectively, and the followup growth could be sustain longer. The results would provide a reference for the production management and low yield stands of Cunninghamia lanceolata to increase production.
