Abstract: This paper reports the anatomical and morphological study on the pine leaves of three species Pinus yunnanensis Franch., Pinus yunnanensis var. pygmaea (Hsüeh) Hsüeh. and P. kesiya Royle ex Gord var. langbianensis (A. Chev.) Gaussen. This study provides some scientific basis for the specific relationship and taxonomic position, for the interrelation in internal-textured formation and its variation to the conditions, and for the good character selection of pine.
