Abstract:
Among 17 carriers,corn-powder with cob-powder carrier was found the most suitable for growth and sporulation of
Gliocladium virens(GVP).In both pot experiment(sterile soil) and field plot trial(natural soil),either the GVP preparation alone or its combination with a low dose(10mg/kg soil) of PCNB was effective in controlling post-and pre-emergence damping-off of
Cunninghamia lanceolata seedlings causcd by
Rhizoctonia solani, and the latter was superior to the former. Two weeks after the addition of the GVP preparation to sterile soil, population of the GYP increased up to 10
8 and that of
R.solani suddenly declined and then the two gradually decreased respectively. At last, population of the GVP fluctuated from 10
5 to 10
6 and that of
R.solani was kept in a very low level.
