Abstract: This paper lists the names of 109 species of notodontids found in Yunnan and makes a faunal analysis on them.It is divided into four parts:the catalogue of notodontids in Yunnan,the animal geographical regions of the world and China each species belonging to,the comparision of composition of notodontids in Yunnan with other fourteen locali-ties in or out of China,and the indications of how many species being similar.The result shows 67.89% of total number belongs to the Oriental region,and 90.83% of them ranges within or beyond the Oriental region.Only 10 species belong to the Palaearctic region in this province.
