Abstract: Bamboo industry is a significant industry for the economy development in Yibin Prefecture.It started relatively early and developed fast.It is, however, of low mechanization, and low technology.The manufacturing forces are scattered and it is difficut to produce in large scale.Regarding to the paper making with bamboo pulp, the set up of a bamboo industry group and the establishment of the biggest bamboo garden in Southwestern China, the paper discussed the approaches to bamboo development strategies.
