Abstract:
The heterogeneous-stock grafting test of
Pinus sguamata in two stocks of
P. armandi Franch and
P. yunnanensis Franch was conducted in Zixi mountain, Chuxiong City in autumn of 1994 and spring of 1995. The results showed that:(1)
P. armandi was better than
P. yunnanensis, and the difference of grafting survival rates between two stocks was 10.5%;(2) grafting in spring was better than that in autumn, and the difference of grafting survival rates between two seasons was 22.6%. This study clould be conducive to conservation and plantation of the rare
Pinus sguamata.
