Abstract: Based on the investigations and analyses on the native rocks,soil types,thickness of soil layers,soil humidity,soil texture,soil unit weight and the contents of humus and gravels in the earth of the forests in Western Yunnan,the effects of the above-mentioned factors on the growth Taiwania flousiana Gaussen were mainly discussed in the present paper.
