Abstract: The four major principles of social forestry are productivity,sustainability in production and natural resources use,equity in benefits sharing and people's participation.These principles are complementary to each other.By satisfying all of them,social forestry can bring sustainable development in the socio-economic conditions of the people and protect ecological environment.
