Abstract: For the first time,the "S" curves of pupating progression and emergence progression of D.kikuchii are described,the average development periods of various stages and occurrence intervals and their standard variations between main stages are computed,the original temperature and effective accumulated temperature for various development stages are determined as well.Based on these,the preliminary forecast models for occurrence period have been proposed to provide scientific basis for timely control of D.kikuchii.
