Abstract: By studying the adaptability,growth and ornamental value of 10 indigenous species like Magnolia dilavayi,Parakmeria yunnanensis,Prunus majestica in Kunming urban afforestation,the authors analyzed their characteristics and application effects.The relationship between the zonal characteristics and the number and variety of indigenous species,and the factor of affecting indigenous species application in urban afforestation were studied.Accordingly,certain improvement suggestions were made as well.
