Abstract:
The results obtained by having transplanted the callus of
Ginkgo biloba produced from embryo on normal MS medium into mediums with different antibiotics for 11 days were as follows:(1)the callus cells turned brown and stopped growth on MS medium with 25 mg/L of hygromycin;(2)the callus cells turned light brown and partially stopped growth onMS medium with 25 mg/L blasticedin;(3)the callus cells of
Ginkgo biloba grew well onMS medium containing 25 mg/L kanamycin. It showed that the callus cells of
Ginkgo biloba were susceptible to hygromycin, and hygromycin could be used as antibiotics for screening of gene transferred varieties of
Ginkgo biloba.
