Abstract:
It was showed by investigation and analysis that there were 7 vegetation types, 11 vegetation subtypes, 23 formations in Nuozhadu Nature Reserve, Yunnan, China.The vegetation types in the reserve were abundant, dominated by monsoon evergreen broad -leaved forest, demonstrating typical transitional characteristics from north -tropic to subtropics.The horizontal distribution feature of the vegetations was not so clear but the vertical distribution feature was obvious, showing upside -down distribution phenomenon.Vegetation types in Yunnan were supplemented by this study with sufficient new materials.The
Quercus kingiana forest in Nuozhadu Nature Reserve was a newly recorded deciduous seasonal rainforest,
Anogeissus acuminata var.
lanceolata forest belonged to deciduous seasonal rainforest, and
Phoenix roebelenii community was a newly recorded vegetation type in dry -hot valley area of Yunnan Province.
