Abstract:
The culture and sporulating characters of
Paecilomyces fumosoroseus with different inoculating means and under different cultivating conditions were described. With abundant inoculation and good air conditions, plenty of velvety hyphae grew and large quantity of spores were produced on the eighth day.On the contrary, with insufficient inoculation and poor air conditions, much aerial hyphae grew out and few spores were produced. It was indicated that inoculation quantities and air conditions were important factors during the sporulating course of
Paecilomyces fumosoroseus under prerequisites of appropriate nutrition, temperature and light.
