Abstract:
Immature fruits of
Canarium albul were collected around 53~61 d after flowering, and entire immature zygotic embryos about 8 mm in length were used as explants and incubated with 12 h of light per day.OnMS or WPM medium supplemented with 7 g/L agar, 50 g/L sucrose, 0.5 g/L CH, 0.5mg/L GA3 and 0.5 mg/L KT, the germination ratios of the embryos reached 68%~81%.On 1/2 MS medium supplemented with 7 g/L agar, 15 g/L sucrose, 4 g/L PVP and 4 mg/L IBA, the rooting rate of the young shoots derived from the immature embryos was 57.6%.Thus the shoots can be multiplied.
