Abstract:
An orthogonal test with 3 factors in 4 treatment levels was carried out to study the influence of different factors including pretreatment, plant growth regulator and culture medium on the rooting from varied-aged needle-leaved bundles of Pinus kesiya var.langbianensis. It was indicated that the leading factor affecting the rooting rate of 2 or 3-year-old needle-leaved bundles was the culture medium, and the major influencing factor upon the rooting rate of 4-year-old needle-leaved bundles was pretreatment. It was also showed by the test results that both of the rooting rate and rooting speed dropped along with the increment of ages of the needle-leaved bundles. It was proven by the test that the highest rooting rate was obtained by 3-year-old needle-leaved bundles cultured by No.9 medium with 75 mg/kg of H
3BO
4, 20 mg/kg of NH
4NO
3 and 20 mg/kg of vitamin B
