Abstract:
The planting effect and economic benefits of the provenances of
Pinus elliottii var.
elliottii×P.caribaea var.hondurensis and Pinus massoniana introduced in 1991 from Tongmian were analyzed. The conclusions were drawn as follows:The growth rate of the introduced provenance of
Pinus elliottii var.
elliottii×P.caribaea var.hondurensis was higher than that of the introduced provenance of
Pinus massoniana, which were both from Tongmian, the tree height, DBH and stocking volume of the former tree species were 33.33 %, 14.49 % and 40.62 % higher individually than those of the later, therefore, the net income of planting, the expectance land value, the profit rate and the internal benefit rate produced by the former introduced tree species were separately increased by 80.27 %, 80.75 %, 64.69 % and 20.73 %than those of the later tree species. The productivity and economic benefits of planting the introduced provenance of
Pinus massoniana from Tongmian were higher than those of planting the locally originated provenance of
Pinus massoniana.
