Abstract: Based on analyzing the quality of forest resources in Jiangxi Province, the problems and development potential in forest resources quality were analyzed.It was proposed that the standards of forest resources quality should comprise the characteristics of reasonable structure, high unit yield, abundant aspects, perfect function with stable and sustainable development.Additionally, the countermeasures including conception and policy reform and technical advances to improve forest resources quality in China were put forward.
