Abstract: The categories of non-timber forest products (NTFPs) in Maandi Township, Jinping County, Yunnan Province were investigated and the utilization status was analyzed by means of survey methodology of community forestry in order to show the relationship between the utilization of non-timber forest products and local economic development of the communities. Some suggestions and advices were proposed to improve local resource conservation and to promote the community economic development in Maandi Township.
