Abstract: Cuttage propagation is an effective approach to reserve and utilize the superior characteristics of Pinus kesiya var. langbianensis such as rapid growing and high yielding of resin. It is also the key technique to realize the clonal production for Pinus kesiya var. langbianensis. The large-scaled sapling production model for Pinus kesiya var. langbianensis by vegetative propagation was proposed on the basis of analyzing the potential advantages and the main limiting factors in the propagation process.
