Abstract:
Regression equations among the leaf area index(LAI), bamboo stock diameter at breast height(DBH), density of bamboo plantation and the number of branch strata were set, and it was discovered that there were close correlations among these indices. It was showed that the yield of bamboo shoot was significantly correlated with LAI of
Oligostachyum lubricum, and the maximum yield of bamboo shoot could be obtained when the LAI was 10.339. It was proposed that the density of the bamboo plantation and DBH indexes should be regulated reasonably to keep appropriate LAI and so as to realize the sustainable target for managing the plantation of
Oligostachyum lubricum with rational yield and high efficiency.
