Abstract:
The influence of diverse fertilization treatments upon growth rate and economic benefits of fast-growing plantation of "Guanglin No.9" clone of
Eucalyptus was investigated. The results showed that the difference between the treatments and the control was significant. The best economic benefit could be obtained by 0.5 kg/plant basal dressing prescribed as mixture of (5% N+15% P
2O
5+5% K
2O) applied together with some organic compost and some microelements, which was combined with 0.5 kg/plant/year top dressing prescribed as mixture of (16% N+10% P
2O
5+14% K
2O) with 2% Cu, Zn and B microelements. The forecast timber yield of 5-year-plantation could be 145.50 m
3/hm
2 and the net profit would be 33 127¥/hm
2. The experiment also showed that the total amount of efficient nutrients and the proportions of the elements should be firstly taken into consideration, followed by dosages and the grain form of fertilizers.
