Abstract:
The solubility, UV absorption spectrum, heat and light stabilities and anti-oxidation activity of oligermeric proanthocyanidins(OPC) extracted from the bark of
Pinus kesiya var.
langbianensis were studied. The results showed that the OPC extracted by solvent method had good water solubility, light and thermal stabilities. Its λ
max was 280 nm when the temperature was under 60℃. The results also showed that the OPC was actively resistant to oxidation, and it will be suitable for edible oil preservation.
