Abstract: The air-cushion type mower techniques have been widely applied in landscape greening in some developed countries along with the development and perfection of the relevant technology. The operation principle and the structure properties of air-cushion type mower were elaborated. Preliminary designs were made for some of the major parts of the mower, such as the impeller of the centrifugal blower and the razor blades of the mower. Meanwhile some technological discussion was made about the design.
