Abstract: The Pinus needle powder is processed by the needles of Pinus massoniana and other pine trees, which contains a certain quantity of protein and vitamins, meanwhile rich in carotene. It has been proven that Pinus needle powder is very beneficial to the growth and production of animals and poultry. It can also strengthen disease resistance of the animals and promote the utilization efficiency of the forage. The nutrition value, foraging value of the Pinus needle powder and its application to animal production were reviewed.
