Abstract:
The effects of soil treatment and utilization of different kinds of pesticides with varied concentrations on seedling growth of
Pinus tabulaeformis and occurrence extent of damping-off disease were studied. The results showed that the seedlings grew better, and the damping-off disease happened less when the humus content in the nurture medium was over 1/3. Utilization of varied pesticides had obvious effect on controlling of damping-off disease but did not significantly influence upon the growth of
P. tabulaeformis seedlings. Integrated utilization of FeSO
4 with carbendazim or other pesticide could better control the occurrence of damping-off disease.
