Abstract: The application of distributed WebGIS technology to the administration of forest tenure was studied by means of integrating the distributed WebGIS techniques with characteristics of public dissemination of forest tenure, expression of spatial data and remote transmission. Aiming at providing the public with a convenient interface for forest tenure consultation, the systematic model for forest tenure administration was designed to improve the unity properties of the system by evenly dispersing the GIS functions.
