Study on Rejuvenation Techniques for Weak Saplings of Parakmeria yunnanensis

  • 摘要: 对云南拟单性木兰苗木在早春进行截干处理,截干高度以20~30 cm为宜,可有效防止苗木徒长与弯曲,并达到复壮的效果,以形成良好的树冠,提高观赏价值.

     

    Abstract: The topping measure was applied to the weak Parakmeria yunnanensis saplings in the early spring. It was showed that good results could be obtained by topping the weak saplings at the height 20~30cm above the root collar which was able to avoid water sprouts and curved growth for the new stem, form good crown shape, increase ornamental value and to rejuvenate the saplings.
