Abstract: This paper summarized the domestic methodology to evaluate the service value of forest ecosystem in recent years,and corresponding case studies conducted by Chinese scholars.It also summed up the ideas and evaluation methods for forest carbon sequestration.The paper pointed out the main problems with evaluation on the service value of forest ecosystem in China,and discussed the related research prospects.
