Abstract: An experiment was conducted with contents of thinning sample plot survey,thinning intensity determination,thinning methodology,thinning specimen definition and management of thinning implementation to study the key factors for tending purpose thinning of young and middle aged plantations. The thinning trial with 237 hm² of Pinus amandi young and middle aged plantations was implemented.
