Abstract:
The influence of normal and exponential N-fertilization methods on the height, ground diameter and biomass of oneyear Cyclobalanopsis glauca seedlings was studied. The results showed that there was little difference of seedlings height and ground diameter between two methods at same level of N-fertilizer, and the seedling height and biomass of exponential fertilization treatment were 116.7%, and 107.3% to that of normal fertilization treatment. However, their ground diameter was only 78.3% to that of normal method. Furthermore, the seedlings height, ground diameter and biomass increased with the increase of N-fertilizer use, and showed a significant difference on seedlings height and biomass, but no significant difference existed in the ground diameter. In future, the N-fertilizer amounts should be enlarged research to confirm the suitable level and the difference of fertilization at normal and exponential method.
