Abstract:
The high density polyethylene (HDPE) and the wood powder (rubber wood flour or annatto powder) are used as the main raw material for the study and added with 03% of UV absorbers (UV531 or UV1), extrusion molding them for PE based woodplastic floor. 180 days observation was made for natural weathering effects on woodplastic floor′s performance in Kunming and Xishuangbanna. The results showed that: The 180day natural weathering reduce the woodplastic floor′s bending performance, high temperature and exposure to the sun is one of the main reasons;The surface color changes with the Natural weathering exposure, adding proper UV absorber fitting with wood powder raw material can effectively improve the fastness of surface color in woodplastic floor; The heavy rainfall will increase the water absorption rate of woodplastic flooring, adding UV absorbers can enhance water resistance of woodplastic flooring.
