Abstract:
By using the methods of field investigation and soaking extraction, the waterholding properties of litter layer of Sapindus mukorossi plantation with different age class were investigated,and the regression relationship between the waterholding properties and soaking time,water uptake rate and soaking time was build.The results showed that: the waterholding properties of litter layer of Sapindus mukorossi plantation with different age class existed significant differences.There was a polynomial regression relationship between the waterholding properties and the age class.The class I of Sapindus mukorossi plantation had the best waterholding properties.The natural water holding capacity,natural water holding rate,the maximum of waterholding content,the maximum of waterholding rate,the biggest net capacity were all the highest.The waterholding capacity in Sapindus mukorossi plantation with different age class increased in the form of logarithmic functional model with the increase of soaking time, with the correlation coefficient from 09124to 09194.The waterabsorption rates of the litters decreased in the form of power function,with the correlation coefficient between 09860 and 09875.The waterabsorption rates became lower with the increase of soaking time.The waterabsorption rate was 19525g/h while soaking in the water for 1h.It reduced to 10981g/h while soaking in the water for 2h.After 20h,the waterabsorption rates became zero.
