Abstract:
In order to reveal insect species diversity of the Nangun River Nature Reserve, Cicadomorpha insects of the nature reserve were investigated and collected by sweepnet and lighttrapping methods. The specimens were classified and identified on the basis of morphological characters. Literature citation, geography distribution and checklist of species were provided. The results show that there are 29 species which belonging to 7 families, 8 subfamilies, and 22 genera. Leafhoppers are the dominant group which has 16 genera and 22 species, and accounts for 55.43% and 26.83% of the total respectively. Seven species are newly recorded in Yunnan Province: Lanternaria candelaria (Linnaeus),Ricania sublimbata Jacobi,Gergithus tesselatus Matsumera,Evacanthus interruptus(Linnaeus),Calodia obliquasimilaris Zhang, Bothrogonia scarlatina Cai & He, and Convexana rufa Li.
