Abstract:
Based on the research on the mixed forest water conservation function differences among 7 models of Fokienia hodginsii, in Nanjing national forest farm in Fujian province, analyzed the difference of aboveground part and waterholding capacity of mixed models. The result showed that, Fokienia hodginsii mixed forest had a positive correlation between the water conservation of aboveground part and biomass. Among these models, having the highest ability were the mixed forest of Fokienia hodginsii and Pinus taeda, with 4249t/hm2. Soil layer conservation accounted for upwards of 96 percent of total stand waterholding content. Among of them,Fokienia hodginsii×Pinus taeda was highest. The order of the different levels was soil layer, canopy class, litter layer and living ground cover layer, and soil layer was the primary sites for water conservation. Through comprehensive assessment of water conservation capacity of mixed forests of Fokienia hodginsii plantation could make sure that the mixed model of Fokienia hodginsii×Pinus taeda was the best for stand water conservation .
