Abstract:
In order to explore the effect of different proportions of sludge treatment on the growth of Festuca arundinacea and Medicago sativa, pot incubation test with the different proportions of the sewage sludge and sandy soil was used to compare the growth of the two herbs. The results showed that the application of sewage sludge ameliorates the soil physical and chemical properties and improves the seedling emergence rates, height growth, biomass and the appearance utilization rate of nitrogen and potassium. 20 percent of the sewage sludge compost has the best promoting effect of the growth of Festuca arundinacea, 30 percent of the sewage sludge compost is best for the growth of Medicago sativa. This study illustrates the feasibility of adding sewage sludge compost with a certain proportion to ameliorate the mine soil, and the proportion of the sewage sludge compost should be 20%-30% for restoring vegetation effectively.
